Reflection For Project Two

    The audience I am trying to write to is the people who are skeptical of movie trailers and kind of see the point of them, but also who don’t really like them and over analyze every single detail in these trailers. The purpose of this blog is to dig deep into why trailers pick the things that they do and to do a deep dive on what these effects have on people who look at things from a more analytical side. The persona I am trying to write in is something completely out of my comfort zone and even though I really struggled with this side of things I think it gives a different perspective of someone who really hates these types of things, but she can find at least ONE good thing.

 Alright party people. Buckle up because this is probably going to be the weirdest blog I am going to post. I had someone recommend that I watch Stash Short Film Festival: Comedy (2017) and let me just say wowzers. I don't really know what I was going to be expecting when I watched these, but it wasn't this. I will say one of the short films that stood out to me was Darrel. I thought this one was cute, but it also kept me on my feet because I had NO IDEA about the twist at the end. I honestly thought he was going to get the girl, but BOY was I wrong. Not only was it hilarious but it had a story line that kept you entertained and it never gave away how it was actually going to end. Everything Everywhere All At Once (Blog Three)

     Wow, is what I want to start this blog off with. Whenever I started watching this movie at first I was really confused and was trying to figure out where absurdism was playing a part and even what the word meant at all. I will say I didn't really get the full grasp of it until the very end of the movie. I think Everything Everywhere All At Once does an amazing job at displaying this in the movie with some of the topics at hand. Absurdism is a hard concept to wrap your head around especially if you are not so sure what it is going into. Movie Thoughts: Moonlight (Blog Post Two)

 A theme that really stuck out to me in the movie Moonlight was how your environment can change and shape your mentality. The main character Chiron, goes through major difficulties as he is growing up such as fitting in and finding his true self and sexuality. Most of those difficulties had to do with the toxic environment that he was raised in. Chiron was born and raised in a neighborhood where crime was not a stranger in Miami. He lived alone with his drug addict mother who neglects him when he is at home. Throughout the movie he is bullied because of his sexuality and does not have any good influences in his life to steer him in the right direction. Unfortunately, he is faced with peer pressure in his teenage years and gets into trouble due to this and it changes his whole outlook on life.  Fast forward to his adult life, Chiron is unfortunately involved with the wrong crowd and starts selling drugs as his main hustle and has accepted that this life chose him and there is nothing h
